Saudi Arabia International Trade Report 2025: Total Trade Volume Exceeds 2.1 Trillion SAR

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) has released the International Trade Report for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the year 2025, revealing robust economic performance. The total volume of international trade reached 2,119.8 billion SAR. Total exports were recorded at 1,170.0 billion SAR, while total imports stood at 949.8 billion SAR, resulting in a positive trade balance of 220.2 billion SAR.

In terms of exports, “Mineral Products” led the list at 810.0 billion SAR, followed by Chemical Industry Products (82.3 billion SAR), Machinery and Electrical Equipment (81.9 billion SAR), Plastics and Rubber (71.1 billion SAR), and Transport Equipment (39.6 billion SAR). China topped the list of export partners at 170.4 billion SAR, followed by the UAE, India, South Korea, and Japan.

Regarding imports, “Machinery, Appliances, and Electrical Equipment” dominated at 275.2 billion SAR, followed by Transport Equipment, Base Metals, Chemical Products, and Mineral Products. China remains the leading partner for imports at 261.2 billion SAR, followed by the United States, the UAE, India, and Germany. The report also highlighted that maritime transport is the primary mode for both exports and imports, accounting for 55.9% and 59.4% of traffic respectively.
