The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the official timetable for the 1448H Umrah season, outlining visa issuance dates, digital contracting services, and entry procedures for Umrah pilgrims as part of ongoing efforts to enhance service quality and develop the Umrah ecosystem.
According to the ministry, Umrah visa issuance will begin on 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447H, corresponding to 31 May 2026, while entry procedures and issuance of Umrah permits via the “Nusuk” platform will commence on 1 June 2026.
The ministry further stated that 9 March 2027 will be the final date for issuing Umrah visas, while 23 March 2027 marks the last day for pilgrims’ entry into the Kingdom. The complete departure of Umrah pilgrims is scheduled to conclude on 7 April 2027.
It emphasized the importance of compliance by Umrah companies and external agents with approved schedules and regulations to ensure operational efficiency and an improved pilgrim experience during the season.
The ministry also noted that preparations began early through the launch of initial contracting appointment services between Umrah companies and external agents during the Umrah and Visit Forum 2026, alongside workshops and coordination meetings aimed at enhancing service quality and benefiting from previous season feedback.
Additionally, the ministry has activated electronic accreditation and qualification services for external agents, and enabled digital contracting for accommodation, transportation, catering, and supporting services through the dedicated Umrah services platform.
